what is vaginal dryness?
The most common cause of vaginal area dryness is a decrease in estrogen production. And while this occurs mostly in women after menopause, when estrogen levels decline, there are many other times throughout a woman’s life when she will experience vaginal area dryness.
Women can also experience low estrogen levels from breastfeeding, taking contraceptive pills, undergoing a hysterectomy, during cancer treatment or due to certain medications. It’s a very common, but uncomfortable, condition.
Low estrogen levels can result in drying, thinning and inflammation of the vaginal area tissue. This is called vaginal atrophy and can result in daily discomfort, painful intercourse and can also affect the urinary system.
Vaginal area dryness and vaginal atrophy are often treated with estrogen therapy, which can have health risks and may not be suitable for everyone. On the other end of the spectrum, many over-the-counter moisturizers and lubricants offer only short-term and superficial relief, and can be incredibly messy to use throughout the day.

About The Study
The objective of this study was to evaluate the in-use safety of an external vaginal moisturizing serum on at least thirty (30) healthy, adult, female subjects between the ages of 35-65 years old. The study was conducted over a 2-week period, and the following procedures were performed at the following time points:
