ASSESSMENT OF THE CUTANEOUS COMPATIBILITY AND ABSENCE OF ALLERGENIC POTENTIAL IN HUMANS AFTER REPEATED INSULT PATCH APPLICATIONS SUPERVISED BY THE DERMATOLOGIST
Zurko BioResearch
- This objective of this study was to verify the cutaneous compatibility and the absence of allergenic potential of a cosmetic product after repeated skin applications, under exaggerated experimental conditions.
- A RIPT test is ‘repeated-insult patch test’ which is a two phase process that’s designed to evaluate the sensitization potential of a product.
- The product was applied to the skin under patch 9 times during 3 consecutive weeks, across 50 participants of all skin types.
